Alone

Tall and strong

Colors gone

Naked branches

Warmed by the sun.

Pondering 

Her barren bones 

Colorless tones

Stark and sleeping

In the snow.

Standing 

Hopeful

Look at me

I am more 

than this tree.

Exploding life

Yet to be.

But for today

She stands alone
